Orbit Solutions produced a comprehensive visual amenity report for a proposed JCDecaux Australia signage development at 1 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda, to support VCAT proceedings. Utilising precise LiDAR scanning and point cloud datasets, our team developed aligned 3D models across three distinct camera viewpoints to accurately depict the site. Each viewpoint set provides a detailed visual progression, featuring the original photograph, point cloud alignment, proposed building and signage outlines, and the finalised built form contextualised alongside the approved 3-15 Fitzroy Street envelope. By focusing strictly on the built form and excluding unrequired landscaping models, this methodology ensures stakeholders receive an unambiguous, highly precise representation of the project's visual impact.
